Job Ledger ("we", "our", "the app") is a business tool for contractors and small businesses to manage jobs, clients, work hours, and PDF documents. This policy explains what data we collect and how we use it.

1. Data we collect

Account data: email address, display name, authentication identifiers (Firebase Auth).
Business profile: company or personal name, address, phone, tax IDs, bank details you enter in Settings.
App content: clients, jobs, materials, work time entries, photos you upload, generated PDF metadata.
Device & usage: basic diagnostics via Firebase/Google infrastructure (crash logs if enabled later).
Purchases: subscription status is processed by Apple App Store or Google Play; we store premium entitlement locally on your device.

2. How we use data

Provide sync and backup of your business data in your private cloud account.
Generate PDF offers, invoices, and work-hour reports.
Authenticate you and secure access to your data.
Manage Premium subscriptions (ad-free experience).

We do not sell your personal data.

3. Storage & security

Data is stored in Google Firebase (Firestore, Storage, Authentication) in regions selected for the Firebase project. Access is restricted so each user can only read and write their own data (see Firestore security rules).

4. Third-party services

Firebase (Google) — auth, database, file storage
Google Sign-In / Sign in with Apple — optional login
Apple App Store / Google Play — subscriptions
OpenStreetMap — optional map picker for work location (coordinates only when you confirm)

Advertising (Google AdMob) may be enabled in free tier in future updates; Premium removes ads.

5. Your rights

You can:

View and edit profile data in the app Settings.
Delete your account from Settings → Delete account (removes auth and cloud data we control).
Export work data via PDF/CSV export features.

6. Children

Job Ledger is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

7. Changes

We may update this policy. The "Last updated" date will change. Continued use after changes means acceptance.
